Chat Pile just announced a new album and released the first singlebut the news doesn’t stop there. In this Nu Metal Agenda exclusive, we can confirm that the Oklahoma band will be hitting the road this fall in support of their new album, Who Loves The Sun.
The Who Loves The Sun Tour will kick off September 12th in the band’s hometown of Oklahoma City and run through November 22nd, with the final show taking place in Lawrence, Kansas. Joining them for the 28-date trek will be Philadelphia hardcore punks SOUL GLO. The first leg of the tour, September 20th through October 10th, will feature special guest Kansas prairie goth trio Virga. The second leg, running November 5th through the 22nd, will feature West Texas dirtgaze outfit Shallowater. The September 17th Minneapolis show will feature a special one-off appearance from grunge/shoegazers Prize Horse.
Normally this is the part where we’d provide information about when and where fans can purchase tickets. Unfortunately, as of this writing, no such information is available. Watch this space for more details as they emerge.
