Me porto bonito, song by Puerto Rican urban artists Bad Bunny and Chencho Corleone, is the most listened to Latin song on Spotify, after surpassing the hit by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee Despacito.
According to the most current numbers on Spotify, Me Porto Bonito, which was released in 2022, already has at least 1,696 million views, while Despacito has 1,690 million.
Me Porto Bonito is included on Bad Bunny’s album Un Verano Sin Ti, winner of a Grammy and Latin Grammy for best urban album.
It was also chosen as song of the year by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (Ascap, in English).
The song was co-written by the also Puerto Rican Master Joe, one of the pioneers of reggaeton and composer of Ascap.
The song peaked at number one on Latin Airplay and was ranked number six on YouTube’s Top Songs of 2022.
Bad Bunny, who had a brief period of inactivity on social networks in 2023, has been posting again since the beginning of 2024, while Chencho Corleone is in the middle of a tour whose last stop was in Peru.
