An explosion during the early hours of Monday, January 12, left several people injured inside the El Monasterio nightclub, located in Trujillo. The attack occurred during the presentation of the salsa orchestra Zaperokoand the videos of the moment quickly went viral on social networks.

In the clips released by the attendees, it is heard that the explosion generated panic among the attendees and artists, who chose to evacuate quickly, since a new explosion was feared. In the midst of this tragic situation, the salsa group issued a statement.
Through its social networks, the Zaperokó Orchestra – La Resistencia Salsera del Callao confirmed that none of its members were injured. In addition, they appreciated the expressions of concern from their followers, family and friends.
