Yailin and Tekashi 6ix9ine, one of the most controversial couples in the Latin urban scene, have ended their relationship. The Dominican singer was in charge of announcing the breakup, posting a story on Instagram declaring that she is single.
“A free, hard-working, single woman,” said Cattleya’s mother, confirming that her relationship with the Mexican-born rapper is over.
Although the 22-year-old has not given more details about the separation, Yailin has been sharing images from New York, where she has an event this Sunday. In the Big Apple, the singer of “Narcisista” has gone out partying with friends and has taken the opportunity to make public references to her ex and father of her daughter: Anuel AA.
In several stories, Yailin has uploaded videos listening to her ex’s songs, especially drawing attention to the fact that in one of them she posted the song “Bby Boo,” specifically the verse in which Anuel sings: “She tells me that she loves Emma, but she hates Anuel.”
The breakup between Yailin and Tekashi 6ix9ine (Daniel Hernandez) comes months after the huge scandal between the two young men when they accused each other of assaulting each other. Also, this year, Yailin’s mother accused the rapper of assault, which resulted in his arrest in the Dominican Republic.
Despite these unpleasant episodes, both appeared to be very much in love and even made public their plans to get married and start a family. Plans that never came to fruition, as the couple has since broken up again.
The last time they were seen together was in June. In the meantime, Yailin has deleted her photos with Tekashi and he has deactivated his Instagram account.
