The political party’s demand was accompanied by a message from the opponent and former head of the Venezuelan Legislature Juan Guaidóexiled in USAwho asserted that there is still no date for the presidential elections because these elections are used by the president Nicolas Maduro as a mechanism ofextortion” to the international community.

We do not have to wait to all together demand an election schedule. It is the first element to make it competitive, to organize ourselves, defend the votes, ask for support from the international community.“said the opponent in a video shared by his party.

Guaidó asked the presidents of Brazil and Colombia, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Gustavo Petrorespectively, join this demand for the date of an election in which Venezuelans can express themselves.
