A Peruvian classic celebrates the musical wealth of Peru, Puerto Rico and Cuba. The new hit of Guaynaa and Eva Ayllón.
The Puerto Rican singer Guaynaa its artistic evolution continues with the launch of ‘Ardiame’an impressive collaboration with the recognized Eva Ayllón. The song – originally composed of the Peruvian Rafael Otero López and musicalized by the teacher Guillermo Valencia – is a hymn of the Peruvian Creole songbook that now reborn in a modern salsa -flavored version, in which the sonorities of three sister cultures converge: Peru, Puerto Rico and Cuba.
This new interpretation of ‘Ediame’ not only revitalizes a Peruvian classic, but also exalts the musical roots of Peru in an international context. “This project is a celebration of our identity and a tribute to the power of music as a cultural bridge between nations,” says Guaynaa, who is going through an artistic stage of reconnection with its Caribbean roots.
Eva Ayllón, undisputed ambassador of Afro -Peruvian music and considered a living cultural heritage of Peru, brings to this version a vocal intensity loaded with history and feeling. His participation not only honors the legacy of the subject, but it strengthens its connection with the new generations.

For his part, Guaynaa reaffirms his artistic versatility. After viralizing in 2024 with his live interpretation of “Come, devour me again”, gave way to a new stage in his career with “Caramelito”, his first original sauce. ‘Eldiame’ marks a new milestone on this musical path, betting on the fusion of styles with respect and authenticity.
“‘Eldiame’ is a song that hurts and says deep truths. It is Peruvian in essence and universal in emotion,” says Guaynaa. “Singing it with a legend like Eva Ayllón is an experience that I will never forget. This version is a tribute to the roots, love and art of telling stories with music.”
