The president of the United States, donald trumpassured this Tuesday that Iran has agreed to submit to the highest level of nuclear inspections for an “infinite” time, which reaffirms its commitment to maintaining the Strait of Hormuz open “without further naval blockade.”
“Iran has fully and completely agreed to submit to nuclear inspections of the highest level for a long (infinite!) period. This will ensure ‘nuclear honesty’. If they had not agreed to this, there would be no more negotiations!” Trump said on his Truth Social network.

For this and “other important concessions made by Iran,” the Republican president assured that he has agreed to “allow the Strait of Hormuz to remain open, without further naval blockade”although it will maintain ships in some positions “in case it is necessary to reestablish the blockade”, although “at this moment it seems very unlikely.”
This same Tuesday, the Iranian ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, Ali Bahraini, confirmed that this important naval passage is “completely open for commercial vessels” and ships do not have to make any payment to cross it at least during the 60 days established in the preliminary agreement between Iran and the United States to extend the ceasefire and reach a definitive agreement.
Yesterday, according to another publication by the American president on this social network, 19 million barrels of oil left Hormuza “record” amount, which has caused oil prices to drop.

Regarding the asset freeze, Trump stated that “the money and/or sanctions that the United States Treasury is releasing are deposited in an escrow account, controlled by the United States, and will be used for the purchase of food and medical supplies: “exclusively from the United States, including corn, wheat and soybeans from our great American farmers,” he added.
However, the Iranian ambassador assured that Iran will be the only one that will decide on the use of its unfrozen assets abroad, in accordance with the decision made the day before by the United States.
“There will be no entity or other party (in the negotiations) that will have anything to say about how they are used,” he said regarding the statements of President Donald Trump, who assured that these funds will be controlled by his country and Qatar and will be used to buy “corn, soybeans and wheat” from American farmers.
Despite these disagreements, Trump assured: “The talks are going well!”
