The multi-award-winning producer, arranger and percussionist Tony Succar and the iconic singer Gilberto Santa Rosa —known worldwide as “The Knight of Salsa”— have ignited the expectations of the music industry after sharing a powerful creative encounter in the studio. The meeting, revealed through Succar’s social networks, shows two references of the genre in full artistic connection, marking a key moment for salsa.
“Wow… a lot of level. Thank you teacher for giving me this privilege. I have always admired you, and now even more for being a genius and pioneer in this genre that I love so much, and for your tremendous humility,” he expressed. Tony Succar on his official Instagram account, referring to Gilberto Santa Rosa. The Peruvian producer’s words reflect not only admiration, but recognition of a fundamental figure in the evolution of salsa on a global level.
The meeting, held in an intimate setting of musical creation, also brought together outstanding talents such as Marc Quiñones, percussionist, producer and key player in bringing about this collaboration, as well as the composer Diego Giraldo, described by Succar like “a crack.” The session took place at Heiga Studios, under the technical production of Adrián Morales de Mori, consolidating a top-level team that supports this promising project. Although details of the launch have not yet been revealed, everything points to a production that could become a milestone within the genre.

Tony Succar is preparing for one of the most important shows of his career: “A Succar Pa’ Celebrar”, which will take place this Saturday, May 9 at Costa 21 in San Miguel.
