The production brings together three of the Mexican artist’s most emblematic hits in salsa and marks a special moment for the group.

Tomato Barraza and Orchestra officially present their most recent musical production: the ‘Mix Alejandra Guzmán’, a proposal that transforms three of the most remembered songs of the renowned Mexican singer to the rhythm of salsa: “Making love with another”, “Lucky day” and “Llama por favor”.

For this release, the group had the special participation of Melissa Angeles, a prominent national artist recognized for playing Alejandra Guzman in the musical reality show ‘Yo Soy’. Thanks to her powerful voice and stage presence, the singer brings energy, strength and feeling to this salsa tribute.

The premiere of the video clip also has a special meaning for the orchestra’s director, Carlos “Tomate” Barraza, who decided to maintain the publication date a few days after the death of his mother, Martha Chervellini.

“This project has a very special meaning for me because my mother was very excited to see the result. She knew Melissa Angeles since she was little and knew of the great talent she has. I am sure that she is happy from heaven,” said Carlos Barraza.

With the ‘Mix Alejandra Guzmán’, Tomate Barraza y Orquesta not only pays tribute to one of the most important artists in Latin American music through a salsa proposal, but also dedicates this work to a person who unconditionally accompanied the artistic growth of the group.

The video clip is now available on the official digital platforms of Tomate Barraza and Orquesta.
