During the night of Wednesday, October 2, the DJ Awards 2024 on the island, after a four-year break, in Chinois Club. The popular 3,000-square-meter venue, recognized for its incredible design and its fame for generating such sophisticated atmospheres, thus putting the finishing touch to the season. The development of the ceremony was in charge of Jaguar and Katie Knightand highlighted the best of electronic music with 21 categories voted for by the public, in addition to several special industry awards.
This event is like the Oscars of electronic music; was founded in 1998 to highlight talent on the scene. The categories were defined according to current trends and influences within the electronic scene. The nominees were selected by a committee made up of various promoters, venues, representatives, artists and personalities.
Luciano He was in charge of the afterparty that took place after the ceremony, and was also honored with the award Ibiza Icon Industry for his important role over the years in the island’s scene, alongside him, the British DJ stood out Christopherrenowned progressive house artist. He also participated Mathew Johnson, Ben Sterling with its house and tech house sounds; and the Ibizan DJ Manu Gonzalez.
