The blackberries made history as the first Peruvian band to participate in Coachella, one of the world’s largest festivals.
The blackberries have more than 50 years of musical career by spreading the psychedelic Amazon cumbia, consolidating themselves as the ‘kings of the Amazon Cumbia’ with iconic themes such as ‘The dance of the blackbirds’, ‘Cumbia de los Pajaritos’, ‘You are a liar’, ‘The Dance of the Petroleum’, ‘Lords of the jungle’ and many more.
The views have left a significant mark on tropical music, especially in the genre of cumbia. The band combines Amazonian rhythms with Peruvian cumbia and other Afro -Peruvian styles. His first great success, ‘La Cumbia de los Dos’, marked the beginning of a career full of successes, including emblematic issues such as ‘El Tico Tico’ and ‘La Chichera’.
