The Fall of Officials in the Canserbero Enigma
In a surprising statement, prosecutor Tarek William Saab announced today the issuance of arrest warrants against a series of officials and professionals related to the investigation into the death of Tirone González, known artistically as Canserbero. According to Saab, the measure is based on crimes ranging from obstruction of the administration of justice to aggravated corruption.
In a list that details the participation of those identified in the case, Saab revealed that the order reaches key officials, including Chief Inspector Gilbert Cruz, in charge of the Commission; Inspector Edgar Trillo, who performed investigative functions; Detective Jesús Medina, technical specialist; and PNB Officer Arquelis Blanco, commissioner at the CICPC on the date of the events.
The Aragua Crime Laboratory Commission is also involved, with Deputy Inspector Teresa Pinto and Detective Yonel Toro accused of their participation in the case. In addition, the post-mortem involvement of Solangela Mendoza, the pathologist who carried out the forensic autopsy of Tirone González and Carlos Molnar, was reported.
The accusation against Mendoza focuses on the alleged omission of crucial details in his report, such as two stab wounds and a blow to the face inflicted by Guillermo, an aspect that, according to Saab, should have been essential in the investigation. The charges include obstruction of the administration of justice, criminal conspiracy and concealment.
In a surprising twist, the arrest warrants also reach two former prosecutors, Tulio Enrique Mendoza and Yoli Abelina Torres, who face charges of willful omission, obstruction of the administration of justice and conspiracy to commit a crime. Saab accused these former officials of supporting the erroneous hypothesis of homicide-suicide, by leaving aside 95% of the expertise carried out by the new administration and basing their request for dismissal on a post-mortem psychiatric report.
Operation Revelation is underway, promising to shed light on the dark mysteries surrounding the deaths of Canserbero and Carlos Molnar, questioning the integrity of the previous investigation and pointing out those who, according to Saab, have obstructed the path to the truth.
