After the successful launch on all platforms, the singer has given several interviews where she has talked about the creative process and the album and has revealed that she is working on what is expected to be her biggest musical tour.
Likewise, Shakira confessed that one of the most important songs of this musical work is ‘Acróstico’, a single in which her two children participate very actively.
In a recent interview she had on the Jimmy Fallon show, the Barranquilla native said that her children are very happy with this new project and also plan to receive money for the successful collaboration they did with their mother.
“I wrote a song for them called Acrosticus and, you know, they sometimes stop by the studio and they came to visit me when I was recording this song. “They heard the song, they knew it was for them and they started singing in front of the microphone and it sounded so good,” the Barranquilla native recalled on the Jimmy Fallon show.
The Colombian said that initially she was just having fun in the music studio with her children, but they asked her to record a song and be heard by her millions of fans, a request to which she agreed.
“They said, ‘Mom, we want to be on the album,’ so we recorded it. Then they also wanted to appear in the video and now they are asking about the royalties,” the Barranquilla native revealed with a laugh.
Although the attendees took it with laughter and as a joke, Shakira made special emphasis on the fact that Milan and Sasha are eager to receive payment for their first musical work, since she does not give them pleasure in everything they want and, for the On the contrary, it teaches them to save and work for things.
“Everyone has their ‘little pig’ and they are saving because they want to buy a car when they grow up, because I told them: ‘I’m not going to buy you a car or a telephone, or anything else.’ If you want it, you’re going to have to earn it,’” said the Colombian.
“All the time they’re like, ‘Mom, when are the royalties coming in?’ Because we need to save more money for the car,’” Shakira added.
