The rock group NEW YEARS DAY has shared a new song, «I Still Believe«. The song is taken from the group’s fifth studio album, «Half Black Heart«, which will arrive on March 1. Follows previously released singles «Secrets«, «Vampyre” and “Hurts Like Hell«. It was actually the first song written for the album, dating back to the summer of 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The singer of NEW YEARS DAY, Ash Costelloit states:

«Personally, I felt lost and unsure about what lay ahead. However, a voice inside me urged me to persevere, to never give up and to keep faith that things would eventually fall into place as they should. I realized the importance of not overthinking and simply embracing the present moment. ‘I Still Believe‘ is a heartfelt anthem dedicated to anyone who needs a reminder that, with unwavering faith in oneself, anything is possible.

Costello previously said that “Half Black Heart» «has a deep meaning for us. Although it is common for musicians to express affection for their albums, this one really stands out to me,” he revealed. «It feels like the culmination of all the hard work and growth we’ve experienced during the creation of our previous albums. “We have taken everything we have learned from those songs and we have poured it into this album.”
