Venezuelan rapper Liomar Ricardo Acosta Orta, better known by his stage name Neutro Shorty, said that he almost died in a car accident yesterday, Saturday, March 2. Despite the event, he met his fans and offered the concert he had planned.
“God, they almost ran out of the crazy mind,” he said in a first Instagram story. In the video you can see his car off the road before being rescued by a tow truck. National Guard troops were on the scene to support Neutro.
“Today a bastard in a truck turned me over and ran away. It nearly killed me unnecessarily. I’m all screwed up now, I did what I could and thank God I held the wheel hard and we’re alive. “God put the mantle over us and saved us,” he stated.
Likewise, the “Trap Life” singer explained that “the nail people helped us, God always begs them all.”
The accident
The singer assured that he was born again and dedicated a few lines to God, stating that he knows how he does things and that every day teaches him to be more humble in many ways.
“God, if you gave me life again it was for a reason. Never leave me alone, God. I love you, God, I love you,” she continued.
Neutro Shorty also mentioned that he and his companions flipped several times in the air after the impact. Then, they were turned upside down and thanks to the help of local residents they were able to get out of the car.
“Everything hurts, but we are alive,” described the composer, who ended up with a neck brace after receiving medical attention.
The show
“We have to give a big round of applause to Neutro, because he is here in the house… Break it,” said Yandel when he announced Acosta during the concert he offered last Saturday night at the Poliedro in Caracas.
Immediately, the rag picker came out on stage with a neck brace and both urban music performers hugged each other. In fact, in the carousel of photos that the Puerto Rican shared on his social networks in gratitude to his Venezuelan audience, he highlighted the survivor of such an accident.
In response, Shorty said: “God, you gave me the opportunity and I’m not going to waste it. @Yandel legend, thank you because today in the midst of a misfortune you give me such a great blessing. Much respect, brother; “Venezuela is your home.”
More testimonials
After fulfilling the commitment and in a quieter and more comfortable place, the survivor said: “Today has been crazy and God really, in less than 24 hours, gave me the greatest lesson in humility of my life. I will never forget everything I learned today: My girlfriend, my bodyguard and I had an accident that the relevant authorities considered a non-survival accident, after going around three times and falling down an overhang, ravine or whatever you want to call it, due to the malicious action of a truck driver in a gray 350 who ran me off the road.”
He argued that the driver responsible for the incident hit his car not once, but twice, an event that caused him to almost die.
“From here from the bed where I am going to rest for a good morning, I urge all the brothers, especially the young people like me who believe that it is lazy not to wear a seatbelt, that is what saved me, brothers. Otherwise, I would have gone flying and the movie would have been different, but thanks to the seat belt I am alive and thanks to God taking the wheel of my car and driving it, because I would not have been able to do it alone.”
Finally, he admitted that he is “stung, stung by everything that happened, but I am tripping over everything that is going to happen now. The best is yet to come, I am alive and full of desire to continue breaking. Long live Venezuela and thanks to mine.”
