The music label, located in Valencia, becomes one of the first to announce its support through a launch created entirely for charitable purposes. Focused on sounds of the techno genre, its variables and subgenres, it is one of the most consolidated underground labels in the Valencian scene. Composed of 16 songs by some of the best artists in the area, the compilation whose title translates to BROTHERHOOD in Spanish is a perfect example of the feeling that such a tragedy evokes in the hearts of the community of one of the most vibrant scenes in Spain.

It is in times like these when the true values of the community must come to light. After the events that occurred during the DANA’s passage through the Valencia area and its surroundings, the situation is in a truly critical state. Entire communities without access to basic services, missing, and a very late response from the authorities have created a climate of unrest and discontent in a population that, in a matter of minutes, saw how the water took away each and every one of its possessions. .

Despite the high rate of action, participation and mobilization of citizens and other organizations, the work has only just begun. With the release of this compilation, Gordo Trax joins the wave of support that has flooded the people of Valencia from the rest of the people of Spain in recent days. Furthermore, the label hopes that this will encourage other figures and actors within the scene to act in similar ways, showing their support for the city in which they reside.

The money raised in its entirety will be used to support the communities affected by the havoc caused as a result of the passage of DANA. Homes, animal shelters, businesses, material goods and, above all, families are in critical conditions. Appealing to the values that serve (or should serve) as a cornerstone of the community, ‘GERMANOR’ seeks to promote aid through alternative channels to those used until now. At the time of writing this article, the compilation has managed to raise more than 2,000 euros in donations.

Upon the release, the label itself stated:

“We are incredibly fortunate to have a diverse and talented group of producers in the city, who have kindly donated their labor to help. Our condolences go out to those who have suffered loss. The funds raised will be gradually donated to local organizations, while resources and materials necessary to help will be purchased as needs arise.”

In addition, sources within the label itself have confirmed to us that it is preparing a second compilation, which will feature international artists.

‘GERMANOR’ includes 16 songs by artists such as Seon, Stroc, Pajaro Dune, the head of the seal, Final Version and SCHRZØ.
