KERRY KING finally releases his debut solo album, «From Hell I Rise“, through Reigning Phoenix Musicand reveals the brand new video of the project, «toxic«, which has been co-directed by Jim Louvau and his partner Tony Aguilera.

Like the acclaimed video of KING «Residue«, which premiered last month, «toxic» was filmed in a downtown Phoenix studio and features a fiery, high-energy, heavy performance from new band KERRY: Mark Osegueda (voice), Phil Demmel (guitar), Kyle Sanders (bass) and the drummer Paul Bostaph.

Jim Louvau supports:

«We are at a point where political fatigue has set in and has become a problem for the majority of people who live in our country, regardless of which side of the coin they are on. The lyrics and energy of the song reflect that feeling, so I wanted to create something visual that almost seemed like a trailer for what we are about to experience. “I also wanted to address post-traumatic stress disorder among people who have served in the military and how the growing political landscape affects their mental health, which often goes unnoticed.”

This month, the band played its first sold-out live concert at Chicago’s Reggies. The concert was described as “dark, crowded and exceptionally loud”, everything you could ask for in such an iconic show… truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In the following days, the band went from playing more intimate venues to performing at huge American festivals. Welcome to Rockville (FL) and Sonic Temple (OH), delighting audiences with an incredible experience of pure metallic firepower.

Now the band is ready to embark on a European tour that begins on June 3, the birthday of KERRY KING. He tells us:

«I can’t wait to return to Europe and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my birthday. To rage, damn.

The tour will combine headlining performances in the UK, the Netherlands and Germany, as well as major appearances at festivals such as hellfest, Download, Rock Am Ring, Tuska, Graspop, Sweden Rock Festival and many more.
