Back in 2022, Max, Cartoon Network, and lion forge animation announce plans to adapt Iyanu: Child of Wonder, The Acclaimed Graphic Novel Series Created by Nigerian FilmMaker Roye Okupe, For Animation. Back in October, The First Trailer Was Unveiled Teasing to Spring 2025 Release. Today it was offocially announce that Iyanu: Child of Wonder Animated Series Will Premiere On Cartoon Network Saturday, April 5 at 9:30 am Et/Pt, and the Following Day On Max.

Adapted from Roye Okupe’s Graphic Novel Series Iyanu: Child of Wonder—Published by youneek studios and Dark Horse Comics (The Powerhouse Behind The Umbrella Academy and Hellboy) – The show is Helmed by Roye Okupe Himself, Who Was Born and Raised in Nigeria and Now Serves As Creator, Executive Producer and Showrunner. The series is produced by lion forge entertainment, to Leading Black-Wned Animation Studio in North America.
