The president of Israel, Isaac Herzogdescribed today as “scandalous” the announcement by the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (CPI), Karim Khanwho requested an arrest warrant against the prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahuand the Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, for alleged war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
“The prosecutor’s announcement CPI is more than scandalous and shows to what extent the international judicial system “is in danger of collapsing,” he stressed in his X account.

Herzog considered that it is a measure “in bad faith” that “emboldens terrorists around the world.”
“Any attempt to draw parallels between these heinous terrorists and a Government of Israel democratically elected”, he stressed that it is “scandalous” and that no one can accept it.
The president of Israel called that “all the leaders of the free world” condemn the decision of the CPI.
