“I was born to make dance music.” With these words, Charli XCX has set the stage for her highly anticipated sixth studio album, hinting at a triumphant return to her club music origins.

Charli XCX, a name synonymous with boundary-pushing pop music, has always exhibited a knack for blending mainstream appeal with underground club culture. The chart-topping songstress’ latest social media tease suggests her upcoming album ella, BRATwill delve far into this deeply personal intersection while celebrating the spirit of rave culture around the globe.

“i was born to make dance music.. i came from the clubs.. xcx6 is the album I’ve always wanted to make,” Charli said in a post on X.

The revelation arrives hot on the heels of Charli’s recent Boiler Room DJ set at a warehouse in Bushwick, New York, where she not only rinsed her new single “Von dutch” but also gave attendees plenty to marinate on from the new album.
