“I am nothing without you” is a love bachata written by Frank Reyes with adjustments made by Henry Santos, and musical arrangements by Carlitos “La Magia”.
“Frank and I have been thinking about doing something together for a long time and, as my new album is about including friends, colleagues and legends of the genre, Frank, being a pillar, it is indisputable that he had to be part of it. For this topic we communicate, exchange ideas and work together. “I was very excited when I heard the result of what we produced in collaboration,” said Santos.
Likewise, he added that this meeting means growth, expansion, friendship, and endless good things, both for the artists involved and for the Dominican Republic. “The pillars of music want to see newness, they want to expand to generations that consume new digital forms, allowing them to stay fresh and in line with the times. And for me, seeing the respect that these pillars show to my lyrics, my melodies and my vision as a producer, is the greatest award of my career,” he said.
The song has a video clip, which is the second episode of a story that began with the last single, “La Exception.” The creative idea is from Luis Gómez Films and Gisselle Méndez.
These will follow a series-style format, feeding the content and creativity to the visual projects, involving the followers more. It features the stellar participation of Químico UltraMega, Manu Franco and Ramines Mena.
In addition, the single is available on all digital platforms and the video for two episodes is on YouTube.
It should be noted that Henry Santos remains firm in the idea of providing his audience with an album “Friends & Legends 2” where different generations of Bachata can be appreciated, collaborating with legends of the genre, as well as with new blood. It will be available in full by February 2024.
