Every four years the moon completely blocks the face of the sun from Earth, causing a total solar eclipse. And, according to POTMexico, the United States and Canada will experience the path of totality on April 8th.

To celebrate this phenomenon, 13 international music festival producers are uniting to collaborate on a once-in-a-lifetime experience where individuals, music, art, space and technology converge. From April 5-9, Texas’ Reville Peak Ranch will be transformed into a thriving metropolis of creativity, insight and inspiration on a global scale.

Led by Mitch Morales, Texas Eclipse boasts a multi-genre lineup featuring Tycho, CloZee, LP Giobbi and many more as well as over 300 prominent figures in science and tech, including NASA, SpaceX, Virgin Galactic and Blue Origin.

Enter Meow Wolf. Known for developing mind-bending, large-scale interactive art installations, the brand will be presenting an immersive art world dubbed Gone Fishing within Texas Eclipse.

Inspired by the simple joys of fishing trips and lakeside lounging, the goal is to “put a truly hyperlocal, Texan twist on Meow Wolf’s immersive art world within the festival,” according to a press release shared with EDM.com.

“By day, the local livery’s chatty inhabitants share tales as captivating as the fish that got away,” the release adds. “But as dusk falls, the lake shimmers with the glow of Neo-Burlesque performances, setting the stage for a night of sizzling entertainment tailored for more mature maritime friends.”
