Danny Ocean Elevates 2024 with a Double Musical Impact: ‘AMOR’ and ‘Medio Friends’

Renowned reggaeton artist Danny Ocean has started 2024 off strong by releasing two new songs on February 9: “AMOR” and “Medio Friends.” With his distinctive relaxed voice, the Venezuelan, famous for the international hit “Me Rehuso”, presents these songs with fresh electronic beats and his unmistakable flow.

In 2023, Danny Ocean achieved notable successes, highlighting his participation in the song “Correcaminos” by Spanish Alejandro Sanz, which earned him a Latin Grammy nomination. In addition, he released collaborative songs with 3AM, Rawayana, and the solo single “No te enamores de el,” which has accumulated more than 9 million streams on Spotify since its release in November.

The artist also left his mark in Chile during the 2023 Tour, performing at the Movistar Arena and thrilling his fans with performances, including one of his greatest hits, “Dembow.”

About the new songs, Danny Ocean shared intimate details of the creative process. “AMOR”, composed four years ago in collaboration with the romantics of 3AM, explores the theme of self-love, telling the story of asking oneself for love in the mirror.

As for “Medio Friends,” the artist describes the song as a story about two friends who share an intimate moment. Ocean reveals that the lyrics express how, in the end, one of the friends confesses: “we know each other, but in reality you know me well and I like you.” The song was co-written with Lagos and produced by the same pop duo.
