Daddy Yankee, the ‘king of reggaeton’, joined the list of world-class artists who have sent emotional messages of support to our country after the devastating emergency caused by the forest fires in the Valparaíso region.

The Puerto Rican singer dedicated a message on his Instagram account to the affected families and acknowledged that “I have been aware of the news.”

Then he pointed out that “something that I have learned over these years of going to your beautiful country is the resilience that you have, the strength of the people, the hope that you carry all the time, how you work together.”

“I know that this is one of those great challenges that Chile faces again, which shows the world the resilience of the country,” said the interpreter, emphasizing that he will be available for whatever is necessary.

“I will be there when you need me, but I am sure that you always teach what hope, unity and working as a team is,” he said.

Finally, the reggaeton player expressed the love he feels for our country: “With you, Chile, always. Love you very much. May the Lord be in his hearts and with all of you, God bless you.”
