A Cuban police officer has surprised Internet users on TikTok because of her great resemblance to the Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee.
In her profile on that social network, the woman has been very proud of being confused with the Puerto Rican artist.
“At the moment I thought it was Daddy Yankee”; “Daddy Yankee’s Double”; “Great resemblance to Daddy Yankee”; “I thought it was Daddy Yankee, greetings and blessings,” are some of the messages that have been left in his publications.
“I am Cary Cruz and the genre I sing is salsa, what I record is salsa and protest songs for the freedom of Cuba, ‘Patria y Vida’. I am Cuban, apart from being an officer, an investigator, I am a singer, but I admire and respect Daddy Yankee,” she clarified in a video on TikTok.
“Many people, when I have my hair like that and take off my wig, because I have to work and I can’t work with that hair when it comes to things as an officer, an investigator, security and protection, escort, I don’t work with long hair, long hairs are generally for music; They do confuse me a lot,” said Cary.
“My respects to him, for me he is an icon, and I hope for one day I can be him, because he is a star, my favorite, and I hope one day I meet the supposed twin I have, who is Daddy Yankee (…) Daddy looks at how people compare me to you and I am proud that they compare me to such an incredible human being,” she said.
