Daddy Yankee announced his retirement from the stage at the beginning of December to begin living his life for Christ, “a story is over and a new story is going to begin, a new beginning,” is what he said.
As the days go by, the singer has begun to share messages related to his faith. In a recent post on Instagram, the ‘Gasolina’ singer asked his followers to stay away from evil, seek peace and do good.
“If you are seeing this it is because you have life and there is hope,” this is how Daddy Yankee shared his first spiritual messages after announcing that he would dedicate his life to God.
In a video shared this month, the singer sent a message blessing all his followers by sharing his spiritual and religious thoughts.
“There is nothing more powerful to have hope than having daily communion with God. Talk to him; learn to listen to it. This will allow you to increase the hope you have in life and in yourself. Feeding the soul, body and spirit with light,” she added in a written message.
At the end of the publication, the singer shared a biblical quote in which he invited all his followers to turn away from evil and do good.
“Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and follow it” (Psalms 34:14).
On Saturday, he also made another publication, but now, through the stories of the Instagram platform, sharing another verse from the Bible.
“Pride and arrogance ultimately fail” (Proverbs 16). Her quote was accompanied by a brief reflection: “Let’s protect ourselves from pride.”
