The Norwegian pioneers of avant-garde and progressive black metal, BORKNAGARwill release their monumental twelfth studio album, «Fall«, worldwide on February 23 through his record label Century Media Records.
Today the third single from the next album is published «Fall«. Take a look at “Moon» in a stunning animated clip created by visual artist costin Chioreanu/Twilight13Medianext.

We are very proud to present you the third single ‘Moon‘from our next album’Fall‘. ‘Moon‘has been written by ICS Vortex and represents another step in our constantly evolving musical adventure. The same as ‘Up North‘We are delighted to be able to work with our friend Costin Chioreanu/Twilight 13 Medium once again to complete the song with a deep and sophisticated visual. We sincerely hope you enjoy the song/video as much as we do. We love”.
The videographer Costin Chioreanuwho also created the single’s artwork pictured above, says:
«When I work with a band with a respectful fan base that has very high expectations, the pressure on the shoulders is, of course, more intense than in any other everyday project. But when it is also the second collaboration with a band like this – a few years ago I already illustrated the song ‘Up North‘ for BORKNAGAR– the pressure becomes at least double. I am extremely grateful to these incredible musicians and also to Century Media for unconditionally trusting in my abilities, since this is the drug that keeps me high to bring to this dimension such unique manifestations of visual art as the animation video I created for ‘Moon‘. Also feeling very connected to the theme of the song, being at one point in my life completely drowned in the surreal nectar of this type of poems, I was able to dress it honorably with the appropriate images. “I think this video really pushes the boundaries of heavy metal aesthetics into a fresh and fruitful new area.”
«Fall» includes eight majestic tracks over 54 epic minutes, once again brilliantly mixed by Jens Bogren/ Fascination Street Studios (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Kreator) and with a stunning album cover by Eliran Kantor (Testament, My Dying Bride, Sodom).
«Fall» is the follow-up to the widely acclaimed studio album «True North» from 2019 and will be available as a limited first pressing Digipak CD, Gatefold 2-LP on 180gr vinyl, and as a Digital Album.
