Christian Nodal has been in the eye of the storm since he confirmed his separation from Cazzu and began dating Ángela Aguilar, all in less than a month. Now, the controversy grows after the surprise wedding of the interpreters of Dime cómo quieres.

The now married couple were harshly questioned for the speed with which they started a new relationship and took it to the altar. Much has also been said about Nodal’s ex-partners, especially Belinda.

The Sapito singer had a highly publicized romance with Christian and despite the fact that they seemed very much in love, they ended their relationship amid accusations and accusations. There was even evidence in the form of screenshots that showed that beyond the love they showed in public, not everything was smooth sailing.

Nodal already has a daughter, but it is no secret that he had intentions of becoming a father long before, specifically since he was Belinda’s boyfriend. In a live broadcast of the two, the singer expressed his desires and his then girlfriend took a stand.

In that video, Nodal and Belinda are seen very close and apparently in love. He openly says: “My love, everyone wants me to get you pregnant.” And she, without losing her saccharine tone, answers: “Yes, but not yet.”

The singer explained that the main reason she didn’t want to become Christian Nodal’s baby mother was her desire to “do things right, do things the old-fashioned way.” Nodal insisted, assuring that things would work out, encouraging his girlfriend.

And Belinda went further in explaining what it meant to “do things right”: “First we need an engagement ring, otherwise how are we going to get home like this with my parents? I set a very good example for the girls. We want to do things right, we are not going to do things quickly or anything, things are done with time, we are young, we have a lot of future.”

Some time later, when Nodal was already weaving a new love story with Cazzu, he confessed that “doing things quickly” is a characteristic of him, of his way of loving. He even assured that for him there is no gray, there is white or there is black. That way of being of the singer would explain why, after just a few weeks of dating, he decided to marry Angela Aguilar.

Belinda began her career in television when she was just a child. Her first important role was in the children’s soap opera Amigos X Siempre in 2000, produced by Televisa. Later, she starred in other successful soap operas such as Aventuras en el Tiempo (2001) and Cómplices al Rescate (2002), where she began to be recognized as a child star in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking countries.

In 2003, Belinda decided to take a career turn and focus on music. That year, she released her self-titled debut album Belinda, which included hits such as Lo Siento and Ángel. This album was a commercial success and consolidated her transition from child actress to teenage pop singer. From then on, her musical career took off, allowing her to release several studio albums that received praise and sales certifications, such as Utopía (2006) and Carpe Diem (2010).

Her career as a singer has never stagnated. She is currently exploring new rhythms such as corridos tumbados. A few months ago, Belinda returned to music with Cactus, a regional Mexican song that, apparently, was her last statement about her romance with Nodal.
