Bareto premieres in style his new album ‘Fierro, Catre, Bottle’ that promises to be a success.
Bareto announces the official launch of ‘Fierro, Catre, Botella’, seventh studio album and the one that, for them, is the most ambitious of their broad musical career. It is distinguished because it combines and recycles the tropical Peruvian rhythms of the coast, mountains and jungle. It is composed of 10 themes, where their lyrics talk about love and heartbreak in order to evoke the party and capture the essence of cumbia. With this they reach a diverse and fascinating sound tapestry.
“For us it is very rewarding to bet on a new album in a single time,” explains Rolo Gallardo, director and founder of the band. “It also means an important step in the group’s career. It was designed to consolidate the sound that characterizes Bareto and the way to merge several tropical rhythms. This album travels through various sounds and recycling the ones we like the most.”
One of the most curious points of the new musical production is the name they chose: ‘Fierro, Catre, Bottle’. According to Gallardo, the mixture of these words, added to the concept so diverse that it projects, is that it knew how to provide that identity that was sought for the album. “Like a recycler, we take sonorities of different genres to give them a new life. Each song has a very special path and each one can take you for different feelings. Some more festive than others,” Rolo adds.
This album also has exceptional collaborations. First hand appears the participation of Argentine musician Jorge Serrano, who is part of the authentic decadent, the Peruvian rapper Nero Lvigi and the pioneer of the National Reggae Pochi Marambio. “When you see production, music is asking what is needed. In collaborations we always look for someone who really grows the song with their interpretation,” he says.

Bareto is next to return to Europe to meet an extensive tour. “We return with new music and to celebrate national holidays in Europe It is always very exciting to play for Peruvian communities abroad. This time we also participate in two important festivals, Lakelive Festival in Biel Switzerland and the Latin Milano Latin Festival. There is music for a while with Bareto.”
