Following his controversial performance at ‘La Velada del Año 4’, Anuel has changed his tone after initially blaming Ibai for alleged sabotage. The singer, who previously threatened the streamer and called him a “bug-catcher”, has now shared a new message on social media explaining the truth behind the incident.
In his Instagram post, the Puerto Rican singer clarified that technical problems, caused by personnel outside of both teams, were responsible for the difficulties both during the stream and the live event.
“We talked yesterday and realized that the mistake was made by the technicians (who were not part of our teams). Both in the stream and live. I wasn’t late either. They told Ibai one thing and me another while the whole show was running live. It was a pain for everyone,” he explained.
He also said that he will meet with Ibai in person. “On July 24th I am going to Ibai’s house and we are going to talk to them about everything that happened and why the show didn’t start on time with me backstage. A number of terrible things happened out of our control that caused everything and that made both of us react the way we did,” he explained.
Ibai, for his part, has adopted a more measured stance after removing videos of the singer of hits such as ‘Amanece’ and ‘Sola’ from his social media accounts to avoid further controversy.
The streamer, who previously responded in a subtle manner, has announced an upcoming conversation on his channel where they are expected to address the misunderstandings, including the controversial term “pescabichos.”
