The controversial story between Anuel AA and Ibai Llanos came to an end this Wednesday with the live chat that they both had through Twitch.

The two have met in person at the Spanish streamer’s house to settle this controversy, which arose from the disastrous live performance given by Anuel AA at Ibai Llanos’ big event: La Velada del Año 4.

Apparently, the artist arrived an hour and a half late to the venue to give his concert, which only lasted eight minutes due to “technical problems.” The audience, who waited more than 15 minutes for him to come on stage, did not stop booing Anuel AA.

Following this, the singer insulted Ibai Llanos twice on social media, calling him a “pescabicho.” But the controversy seemed to be coming to an end when Ibai announced a personal chat with Anuel AA, who that same day gave his version of what happened on La Velada 4.

“The error was the technicians’, in the stream and live as well. I wasn’t late by any means. They told Ibai one thing and me another, while the whole show was running live… It was shit for everyone. […] “A number of terrible things happened beyond our control that caused everything and made both of us react the way we did,” he said.

For his part, Ibai gave his calmest opinion after speaking with Anuel AA: “I felt sorry, what can I say? I didn’t know what reaction I had had: I went home and said that I had to get on with life. […] It ended up pretty bad, and so did I at the end of the event, because the booing at the Bernabéu was brutal. […] “It started to get unpleasant.”

Apologies in person

This Wednesday, in the chat between Anuel AA and Ibai Llanos, the singer apologized to the streamer for insulting him. “I am a man; just as I failed you, I apologize. I wrote to you very upset, but it was more frustration. I am human,” he told him. In addition, he shook Ibai’s hand up to four times as a sign of peace.

Both laughed about their new nicknames. Ibai is called “pescabicho” (a fish-eater), and Anuel AA is called “el gallo” (the rooster). In a relaxed manner, the singer also revealed that his show at La Velada 4 would feature Ozuna, Yovngchimi and iZaak as guest artists.
