Three days after the release of Bellakeo, Peso Pluma and Anitta presented the song during TikTok in The Mix, the first global live music event organized by Billboard. The presentation met the positive reception that the song had on digital music platforms and on YouTube, where it has almost 4 million views.
However, the conversation on social media focused on Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija’s behavior on stage. According to TikTok and X users, the performer became nervous because of the beauty and sensuality of the Brazilian singer.
TikTok in The Mix was the first global live music event hosted by Billboard for fans. Cardi B, Niall Horan, Anitta, Peso Pluma and Charlie Puth headlined the concert, which took place on December 10 at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona.
Through its official TikTok account, the American magazine published a short video of the presentation of Anitta and La Doble PP, as the corrido tumbados singer is also known.
The publication went viral and generated hundreds of comments from TikTok users, who claimed that the Mexican looked nervous. The viral video of Peso Pluma with Anitta joins other controversies that placed the Jalisco native as the main trend on X and TikTok. First, during his shows in Argentina, the singer had an incident with his wardrobe and his pants fell off while he was singing.
At another concert, Peso Pluma came off the stage to perform LADY GAGA with the audience, a moment that became tense after several fans who were in the front row rushed towards him and grabbed him by the neck. The singer’s security team had to intervene to remove him from the venue and make him return to the stage.
