Pedro Sánchez criticizes Mariano Rajoy’s “xenophobic statements” about the French soccer team

The president of the Spanish government, Pedro Sanchezcriticized on Sunday the “xenophobic statements” of the previous head of government, the conservative Mariano Rajoy, who in a press article about the World Cup stated that the French team plays “without Frenchmen.”

“There are those who still measure belonging by their surname, place of birth or skin color.
