Tehran’s offensive comes after the US Army launched new attacks on “multiple objectives” in Iran as “response to attacks” of the Islamic Republic, as reported by the United States Central Command (Centcom) after several days of renewed attacks.
“US Central Command forces began launching additional self-defense strikes today at 5:15 pm ET (21:15 GMT) against multiple targets in Iran under the order of the commander in chief (President Donald Trump)“, stated the organization, based in Florida, in a message on X.
He Centcomwhich concluded the offensive, indicated in another statement that the operation included the use of precision munitions launched by units of the Marine Corps, the Air Force and the Navy, directed against infrastructure considered strategic within the Iranian defense system.
