The contest opens registration until April 27 and will allow three emerging artists to perform at the festival
Mad Cool Festival once again puts the spotlight on emerging talent with the launch of the fourth edition of Mad Cool DJ Talent by Vibra Mahou, an initiative designed to discover the next generation of artists in the electronic scene. The project, which has established itself as a real platform for access to the professional circuit, is now opening its call for all those DJs who want to be part of the Mad Cool Festival 2026 lineup.
Registration is now available through madcooltalent.com and will remain open until April 27 at 11:59 p.m. From there, a selection process will begin that combines professional criteria and public participation, maintaining the balance between industry and community that defines the contest.
The jury for this edition brings together key profiles of the sector, representing different areas of the music industry. Among them are David Pejenaute (Vibra Mahou), Cindy Castillo (Mad Cool Festival), Matia Torrione (Lula Club), Sally Hurst (Analog), Julio Ebrat (Live Nation), Kasandra Beltrán (RedMoon Techno), Matthew Hoag (Interstellar), Elinora Wilde (Prime Culture) and Alex Pennington (Bysoundscape), configuring a panel with an international vision and experience in talent development.
The process will take place in several phases. After a first selection by the jury, a popular voting stage will open in which the public will be able to support their favorite artists. The finalists will perform live in Madrid on June 11, 12 and 13, in three days that will serve as a prelude to the festival.

From this process the three winners will emerge who will be part of the Mad Cool Festival 2026 line up, making the leap to one of the most relevant stages on the European circuit. An opportunity that goes beyond a specific award and that, in previous editions, has served as a real impetus for the development of new careers.
With Mad Cool DJ Talent, the festival not only expands its programming, but also reinforces its commitment to the future of the electronic scene, opening a direct door between emerging talent and the big stages. You can get more information here.
