All of the injured, including at least a two-month-old baby and two children aged 7 and 8 who suffered serious injuries to their lower extremities, are Bahraini citizens, the note notes, adding that they are being treated in area hospitals.
BNA says that the attack hit the area of Sitraa small island south of Manamathe capital of the country.
On Sunday, the Ministry of the Interior Bahrain reported on the social network Iranian attacks that targeted a facility near Mina Salman, a port that houses a US military base and very close to Sitra.
“Civil Defense is taking measures to control the fire,” the ministry added.
