Just a few weeks ago, we were closing out 2025 at the country’s largest New Year’s Eve music festival, Decadence Arizona. Produced by Relentless BeatsDecadence invited us to enter the ‘The Portal of Illusions‘ which took place at the Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona for two nights, December 30 and 31.
Thousands of festival goers from across the nation gathered at the raceway for a fully immersive festival experience featuring large scale production, brand activations, thrilling rides, and dance music’s most notable artists. Relentless Beats curated a diverse multi-genre lineup, energizing the stages with a mix of bass house, progressive house, techno, dubstep, UK garage, dance-pop, drum and bass, and hardstyle.
We’ve experienced every era of Decadence thus far and 2025 marked our eleventh year at the NYE extravaganza. The festival has grown so much and this edition was the largest to date. This year’s layout was slightly different with an overall expansion across the grounds and the addition of a new stage, The Conservatory. The stages were set far apart enough to reduce sound bleed, but close enough to allow ravers to bounce around and catch all of their favorite DJs.
Decadence houses two stages that host all of the major performances, Grand Palace and Royal Ballroom. These lavish stages made their debut at the 2019 edition and have remained elevating in production and talent. Grand Palace, the main stage, invited ravers to step inside the portal with massive sets and buzz-worthy performances from industry greats, Adventure Club, Darren Styles, Fisher, GRiZ, Kaskade, Mike Posner, Sammy Virji, Sarah Landry, Subtronics, Zeddand more.
We started night one with a trip down memory lane to our early rave days and lots of nostalgia. Bass duo, Adventure Club played a throwback set and Darren Styles transported us to 2012. They filled the palace with melodies, bass, trap and BPM’s to the max. Although both of their sets were top-notch, our standout of the night was Sara Landry. Her energy and hard techno were unmatched. The stage’s led panels
honorable mention for Subtronics because he packed out the stage a
Royal Ballroom’s roster was stacked with performances from It wouldn’t be a New Year’s Eve festival without countdown sets and this year’s rivaled each other, both funky artists catering to different genres, but top of the league. GRiZ
