House Hats is out to prove that house music can not only give energy, but also give back.

The US-based electronic music collective, which operates a prominent record label and prolific event brand, is currently celebrating its 5th anniversary. And they’re going big, organizing their most ambitious event yet while raising funds for a timely cause.

The collective has announced “House Hats Hangar,” a rare party taking over the Tampa International Airport’s cavernous Sheltair Aviation hangar in February 2025. Two years in the making, the show will benefit House Hats’ newly launched nonprofit, Beats Give Backwhich provides foster care students with accessible music technology, equipment, education and opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.

The hangar transformation symbolizes the collective’s larger ethos: turning unexpected spaces into conduits for creativity and community support—all fueled by house music.

“House Hats Hangar” will follow the collective’s recent 5th-anniversary celebration in central Florida, which doubled as an afterparty for EDC Orlando. Miami-based beatsmith ChaseWest headlined the show with support from Kinahau and Slugg.

The night will kick off with a private fundraiser featuring a charitable auction benefiting Joshua Housea foster home to which Beats Give Back has donated funds and music equipment. Then, just like Sheltair Aviation’s plans, the party will accelerate over into the hangar, where ChaseWest will again throw down a headlining DJ set. He’ll be joined by ascendant house music star Beltran, who was recently revealed on Coachella’s 2025 lineup.

In the meantime, you can donate to Beats Give Back here.
