Corporate greed. Corrupt politicians. Weather out of control. Questionable government interests. All this is evident in the latest diatribe of Al Jourgensen against the system, “Just Stop Oil«. The new song, belonging to the 16th studio album by MINISTRY«HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES«, is presented today along with a visually stimulating video that asks us to act for the benefit of our collective future.

Jourgensen talks about the topic:

«The Ministry approves this message and the movement behind it. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

“Just Stop Oil” follows the release of the previous single “Goddamn White Trash«, both songs from «HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES» (out March 1 via Nuclear Blast Records) that give a preview of the mood of the band’s creator and leader Al Jourgensen, which is more cantankerous than ever about a screwed-up world that needs its ass kicked. As always, he’s just staring at the same dump we’re all in, but he has a microphone and uses it well to rage about the state of the world.

«HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES» has the participation of leading musicians from MINISTRY John Bechdel (keyboards), Mount Pittman and Cesar Soto (guitars), Roy Mayorga (battery) and Paul D’Amour (bass) – and with a lot of special guests, like Eugene Hutzof Gogol Bordello, Jello Biafralong-time collaborator and colleague of Lardand Pepper Keenanleader of Corrosion of Conformity.

«HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES» will be available in three vinyl variants, a CD jewelcase and digital/streaming platforms. Vinyl variants include: green with yellow splatters (in stores worldwide); blue with pink splashes (exclusive to Nuclear Blast); red with white splashes (band/tour exclusive).
