Who is Ralph Armon?
Ralph Armon, baptized by Erick Elera as the ‘Plin plin’ of cumbia, is a Peruvian singer-songwriter who has been working and promoting the fusion of Peruvian cumbia with urban rhythms for a few years. Songs such as ‘Niñachay’ by the great William Luna and ‘Como ha has done’ by the Gaitán Castro Duo were covered by Ralph, thus marking the beginning of his commitment to revalue Peruvian music.
Last year his song with Erick Elera and Claudio Armando, Bikini, was part of the soundtrack of ‘Al Fondo Hay Sitio’, achieving acceptance by the Peruvian public.
