Colombian megastar J Balvin has announced his return to Australia less than a year after appearing at Splendor In The Grass and playing two accompanying sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.
In September, Balvin will bring his famous live show to Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, performing in large arenas on his How Good to See You Again Tour (It’s Good To See You Tour). The I Like It singer will be joined by special guests Sofi Tukker on all shows.
Fans can purchase pre-sale tickets via the Frontier Touring website on Monday, March 25, at 2 pm local time. The general sale begins on Wednesday, March 27, at 1 pm local time. All shows are licensed all ages.
Tour promoters Frontier Touring revealed that last year’s J Balvin Sydney and Melbourne headline shows sold out in less than ten minutes, and how could they not? The “Prince of Reggaeton” you have collaborated with some of music’s biggest names, including Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, Cardi B, Ed Sheeran, Skrillex, and Pharrell. In 2020, he became the first Latinx artist to team up with the iconic air jordan brand.
J Balvin is known for his high-energy live show. In recent years, he has made history by being the first Latin headliner in Lollapalooza‘s 28-year history in 2019. He did the same at Coachella that year, returning to the desert event (following Beyonce inviting him up onstage the previous year) for a widely praised epic performance.
Meanwhile, Sofi Tukker are known as one of the most popular electronic music acts on the planet. The duo are performing their fourth year of a DJ residency in Las Vegas, have performed at the same festivals as J Balvin, and their 2016 track, Drinkeewas nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.
