Prince Royce Fuses Rhythms in His New Single “Cosas de la Peda”
The renowned singer Prince Royce returns to the music scene with force, presenting his most recent creation, “Cosas de la Peda”, in collaboration with Gabito Ballesteros. The song, an innovative fusion of bachata and corrido tumbado, gives life to a genre that Royce has baptized as “bachata tumbada”, ideal to dedicate to past loves.
Prince Royce shared his enthusiasm about this new project: “I feel very proud of this song, because it is something I have wanted to do for a long time. He had already fused bachata with mariachi in ‘Inconditional’ and also with banda music in a special version of ‘Soy El Mismo’, and he wanted to do it again, this time with the corrido tumbado. It is a perfect fusion that I call bachata tumbada and I hope people love it as much as I do.”
This piece of music will be part of “Lost Call”, Prince Royce’s seventh studio album, which promises to be his most personal release to date. With a total of 23 tracks, the album will include established hits such as “Te Quiero” (with María Becerra), “Me EnRD”, “Otra Vez”, “Le Doy 20 Mil” (with El Alfa), “Lao’ a Lao’”, and “Si te Porquen” (with Nicky Jam and J Wheeler).
“Llamada Perdida” will be available in digital format starting next February 16, promising to take listeners on a musical journey that explores new sonic and emotional dimensions.
