Doctors reject the arrest of Pathologist in the “Canserbero Case”: Injustice or deviation from the truth?

The non-governmental organization Doctors United for Venezuela expressed its firm rejection of the arrest of the prominent pathologist Solangela Mendoza, recognized for her work in carrying out the autopsy of the famous singer Canserbero in 2015.

Through a series of publications on its official X account (formerly Twitter), the NGO strongly condemned what they described as an “inconceivable” and “unjust” detention of the professional from Aragua.

In the thread, the organization spared no criticism, considering that Mendoza’s arrest is incomprehensible, especially taking into account his renowned career in the medical field. In addition, they expressed their concern about the possibility that this action seeks to divert attention from the true search for those responsible in the case in question.

Doctors United for Venezuela highlighted the many facets of Solangela Mendoza, not only as an excellent doctor and university professor, but also as a practicing woman of faith and with a history of countless altruistic actions.

The organization urged a detailed review of the case and consideration of the integrity and impeccable reputation of the pathologist, underlining the importance of not losing sight of the fundamental objective: the search for the truth in this matter.
