There are artists who not only use their fame to reach more people, make their projects a success or to live a royal life, and many have shown their altruistic side and over the years have created foundations without non-profit in order to help those who need it most. Famous people have decided to create foundations to fight addictions, intensives to care for mental health, some to build dreams and others to pamper children. Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, better known as Bad Bunny, is one of them. Through his Good Bunny foundation created in 2018, the reggaeton player is committed to the talent of children and young people, giving them the necessary tools to train themselves in sports, music and art. That is why, this December 23, one day before Christmas, he decided to create ‘Bonita Tradición’, a family event that left many smiles.
At the San Juan Convention Center, Puerto Rico, Martínez gave those interested in art instruments such as keyboards, guitars and timbales. For fans of other types of discipline, he provided drawing notebooks, brushes and canvases. Likewise, to future athletes in his country, he gave balls, bats and boxing gloves.
Thousands of people from all over the Isla del Encanto attended the event. Since Friday night, the arrival of fans who dreamed of receiving something from the own hands of one of the most important artists of the urban genre was already being recorded, just as others were just waiting to be able to have it in front of them. The “Perro negro” singer arrived wearing jeans, a black coat and shoes with a very fresh style.
As a priority, the Puerto Rican shared with disabled children, like Kevin Canales, who dreamed of being very close to him. “I was crazy to meet him in person (…) I am a fan of him. I took a piano and so did my sister, and the girl a basket,” he said excitedly after receiving the gift from the interpreter.
Also present at the activity were Arcángel, Young Miko and Dei V, personalities also well known in Puerto Rico, and also Bad Bunny’s colleagues. The meeting also featured attractions simulating a Christmas theme park. In the year 2022, on December 27, Benito did the same and donated more than 25 thousand gifts and created a unique experience.
