Anuel AA continues to generate controversy after launching a new tirade against Arcángel which included his ex-partner Karol G.
Anuel AA, the renowned reggaeton artist, has generated a stir in the music industry with the release of his most recent strip dedicated to Arcángel titled ‘Arcángel es chota’.
This song, which is his second directed at the ‘Sigues con el’ singer, has captured the attention of fans and critics alike. In Puerto Rico, the phrase “es chota” is commonly used to describe someone as lazy or with limited abilities, which adds a touch of cultural controversy to the piece.
With a duration of ten minutes, ‘Arcángel es chota’ not only points to Arcángel, but also includes references to other notable artists such as Cosculluela and Karol G, who some time ago was his ex-partner.
The interpreter of ‘More richer than yesterday’ has not restricted himself in his lyrics, launching verbal attacks not only at his colleague Arcángel, but also making comments about the latter’s mother and mentioning Karol G.
“More street than you’ is Karol / I was the one who made her a bichota / (‘She was beautiful, oops),” said Anuel in a part of his single that, despite criticism, has been accumulating thousands of views on YouTube.
Karol G’s fans have been quick to respond to mentions of the Puerto Rican. On social networks, especially in the comments of Anuel’s publications, the Colombian’s followers expressed their discontent and defense of the singer.
With comments like “Now let go of the girl” and “Karol G’s true success came when she moved away from Anuel”, it was clear that the followers of the ‘Tusa’ interpreter hope that the artist will stop remembering her.
This is the fourth exchange of songs between Anuel AA and Arcángel, two prominent figures in urban music. The saga began with ‘FN 8 (Merry Christmas)’, followed by Anuel’s response with ‘Glock, Glock, Glock’.
