You Salsa receives nomination for the Tu Música Urbano Awards.
The orchestra You Salsa He tearfully received his nomination for Telemundo’s 2020 Tu Música Urbano Awards. The salsa group will be competing with Gente de Zona and Silvestre Dangond.
Telemundo announced the official list of nominees for the new edition of the Tu Música Urbano Awards where You Salsa, a popular national orchestra, is among those called to triumph in the ceremony. It is so You Salsaa duo made up of Mariale Salazar and Juan Pierre Puppi, will be competing in the Urban Tropical Song category with the song ‘How to forgive’.
The Peruvian orchestra shares its category with ‘Te seduce’ (N’ Kable & Ñengo Flow), ‘Alegría logical’ (Daniel El Travieso & Michael Stuart), ‘Cartas sobre la table’ (Mucho Manolo & El Michae), ‘Tranquila, baby’ (N’Klabe & Alvarito Díaz) and ‘The liar’ (Gente de Zona and Silvestre Dangond).
“With humility we have just learned this news that makes us happy representing Peru. We are very grateful to the entire Peruvian public,” said Jean Pierre Puppi.
Marial Salazar, the female voice of the orchestra, also showed her excitement: “It is a great achievement for Peruvian artists. Our music is being recognized internationally. It is a fact that Peruvian salsa has already crossed borders.”
The Tu Música Urbano Awards, an event dedicated exclusively to recognizing Latin artists, will be held on March 5 in Puerto Rico.
