As he explained, the decision was linked to the fact that Huey Dunbar, one of the founding members, chose not to continue with the group after releasing a solo album.
“Sony wanted Huey to make a solo album because they believed he could compete with Marc Anthony. Huey released his album, which performed moderately, but he decided not to return to the group. I don’t know what exactly happened, but he didn’t want to come back,” he explained.
In addition, Sergio George added the following: “Huey was the one who most wanted to continue growing as an artist and make the group evolve, but he was learning. The other two members were more focused on fun, touring and their personal lives. Huey became frustrated with that attitude and so did I with the three.”

Could DLG return later?
Months ago, Huey Dunbar was asked about the possibility of meeting his former teammates again, and he made it clear that he is not interested in a reunion.
Finally, it seems that DLG He will remain only in the memory of his followers and salsa lovers, who danced and enjoyed more of his songs such as ‘Magdalena, mi amor’, ‘Juliana’ and ‘Volveré’.
