Fresh off its successful listing on the stock market last week, WEBTOON Entertainment is shifting focus to the upcoming premiere of the Tower of God Season 2 anime adaptation premiering this weekend on Crunchyroll. To prepare new and returning viewers, WEBTOON is pushing The Return of the Prince and Workshop Battle arcs from the Tower of God comic created by SIUas they form the basis for Season 2.

The ongoing digital comic has billions of global views across 301 episodes, with four graphic novels published by WEBTOON UnscrolledWEBTOON’s graphic novel imprint. In addition to the anime adaptation, the series has been developed into a mobile role-playing game, collectible card game, and even more merchandise. Season One of the Crunchyroll adaptation of Tower of God was an immense success upon launch in April 2020, and won Best Score at the 2021 Anime Awards. The anime adaptation of the first season was produced by Telecom Animation Film and directed by Takashi Sano which premiered in April 2020, with the second season being announced in August of 2022 and now produced by The Answerstudio. Crunchyroll describes Tower of God Season 2:
