The president of the United States, Donald Trump, He said Tuesday that he considers “substantially” the customs tariffs to India in the next 24 hours to buy Russian oil, a key source of Income for Moscow.
Trump gave Russia until Friday to advance a peace agreement with Ukraine or face new economic sanctions that could include punishments to other countries that buy their vital exports of crude and gas.

“India has not been a good commercial partner, because they do many business with us, but We do not do business with them. We fix 25%, but I think I will increase that substantially in the next 24 hours, because they are buying Russian oil, ”Trump said in an interview with the CNBC medium.
The president did not detail how much the increase will be. Washington already imposed 10% surcharges additional about Indian products expected to rise to 25% on Thursday.
