The American president, donald trumpdeclared this Wednesday that he is ready to hit drug traffickers who pass by land “very hard,” after a series of lethal attacks against alleged drug boats in the Caribbean and the Pacific.
The government will give explanations to Congress before proceeding with these ground attacks, Trump added to reporters in the Oval Office, without further details.

“We will hit them very hard when they come by land, they have not experienced it yet”he declared. “We will probably go back to Congress and explain exactly what we will do when we go ashore,” he said, alluding to those possible attacks.
The US military forces carried out an attack against an alleged drug trafficking boat in Pacific waters, leaving two dead, the head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, announced this Wednesday on the X network.

It is the first attack of this type in the Pacific Ocean since Washington began its campaign of attacks on ships on September 2, unprecedented in the region.
“There were two narcoterrorists aboard the vessel during the attack, which took place in international waters. Both terrorists were killed and no U.S. forces were injured in this attack,” which took place Tuesday, Hegseth said.
